King Vulture
Submittted by HEYYOUCHOOBERS: Hyacinth macaws are amazing. Have you seen the King Vulture? Amazing black/white plumage on the wings offset by a royaly coloured head. Can’t help but feel it inspired some eastern art.

hey i absolutely love your blog! i've always wanted to major in zoology, and i wanted to know, what it was like? also, how did you get to work with animals such as the wildcats, wolves and sea turtles? i'd like to get to do those things one day. (:
Thanks for following! Majoring in zoology was definitely interesting but, in all honesty, it was also very challenging. I was able to study evolution, ecology, and organism diversity which was actually my favorite course because we studied a wide variety of organisms. As far as the work I’ve been able to do with animals, it is mostly the result of actively seeking out as many opportunities as possible. Ive worked in four different settings with various species, all of which have given me unique skills that I was able to bring to the next location. Even when Ive originally been given the worst tasks, Ive shown initiative and quickly gained more responsibility. Anytime you get a chance to talk to someone in the field, ask as many questions as you can and if there is any way for you to get involved. Just be persistent and willing to do anything, even the dirty work.
