Grant’s Zebra The Ramat Gan Safari is a zoological safari experience just south of Tel Aviv, Israel that opened in 1974 as an African animal park. In 1981, a zoo was established in the middle of the safari, making it the largest collection of species (almost 100 species and a total of 1600 animals) in the Middle East. Many of these species freely roam the park.  Yesterday was my girlfriend’s Birthday and, as a surprise, I took her there for the day. Here are the photos of some of the animals we not only saw inside cages and behind glass but also encountered up close. Photo by Disposable City.
